On Monday 28th November BTEC Business Level 3 students went to EDF in Sunderland to meet Tina a Senior Operations Manager in the smart meter business. Tina spoke to them about the business, the business structure, the different types of job roles and opportunities for students leaving college and the types of employability skills that large firms would look for in recruiting new staff. Ā  The students had a tour of the building, looking at the different facilities provided by EDF for their staff. Ā  These facilities included the large open planned call centre, chill out areas, canteen, gym and rest areas.
