Burnside Performing Arts and Music students have been very busy over the past week getting out and about into the community delivering festive performances, as well as being part of the school Christmas Assemblies.
Year 11 Performing Arts students took their devised Christmas Play out to perform to the children at St Peter’s Primary School.
Year 12 Music and Performing Arts students took their Christmas Pantomime and festive singing performances out to perform to the residents of Osborne House.
Year 13 Performing Arts students took their version of ‘A Christmas Carol’ out to Beacon Hill to perform to the students. After the performance Year 13 led an acting workshop that the Beacon Hill students took part in.
Finally the School Choir joined forces with Wallsend Community Choir to give a concert at St Luke’s Church.
