Gardeners at Burnside have spent this half term very busy in the school grounds. Some of our pumpkins have been harvested this week and we have already harvested apples, crab apples, rosehips and blackberries. We have planted hyacinths for Christmas, daffodils for Mothers’ Day and onions and garlic for next summer. After half term our environment group will reseed our wild flower garden to help encourage bees into our orchard. Well done to everyone who has taken part.
