Some of our Y7 students headed along to Wallsend Library to hear Dan Smith talk about his books and what inspired him to write them.
Having lived in the African Jungle and in the middle of Brazil, which was around 1000 miles from the nearest town, Dan had many entertaining anecdotes about his childhood and how his adventures have been included in his books, to share with us.
These, coupled with his love of movies always make his books an exciting read. His latest book Below Zero being a case in point.
