On Tuesday as a reward for their hard work in editing, directing, and producing BurnsideTV a group of students were taken to BBC Newcastle for an interactive tour of the studio and to see what it is like behind the scenes in a larger environment than they are used to. The students were allowed to view the Look North set, sets from tv shows filmed in the North East and for them to understand what does on when the national news switches to regional. At the end of the day, the students participated in a radio production including sound effects created the old-fashioned way.
