Burnside College is excited to announce the launch of a new Football Academy in partnership with NE Coaching Co for September 2024..
The Football Academy will provide 6 hours per week of high-quality coaching and player development for both boys and girls. In addition, there will be an Open Play Programme offering up to 2 hours of coaching each week to a wider number of students, with a potential player development pathway into the academy for those looking to further their football skills.
“We are delighted to be entering into partnership with NE Coaching Co directors Ben Carr and Andrew Cartwright to introduce Burnside’s football academy. This will offer our students a high-quality football development pathway alongside our strong academic curriculum,” said Daniel Jamieson, Headteacher of Burnside College.
The academy programme is set to kick off in September, with a long-term aim of establishing a programme in every year group. More information will be provided in the coming weeks.
