A great time was had by Health and Social Care and Travel and Tourism students who went on a three day residential to Kielder last week.
While we were there the health students visited a centre for people with disabilities and spent a day at Kielder First School where they ran Christmas activities and provided an audience for their pantomime. Travel students visited local tourist attractions to investigate why people visit Kielder and had a great time reliving their youth at Winter Wonderland. Everyone also joined in with canoeing and a range of team building and communication activities. Thanks to all the staff who gave their time – both from Burnside and at the various places we visited.
