Our Duke of Edinburgh Silver and Gold participants have been busy all year preparing some lovely gifts for all to purchase for Christmas.
We are selling jams, sauces and jellies; all made from fruit grown in the school grounds and all organic. We also have hyacinths for sale – also grown by our gardeners – which should flower in time for Christmas.
The charity chosen by this year’s Silver group is Maggie’s Centre at the Freeman Hospital; which helps to support those living with cancer. We will also be repaying the school fund; which helped us to buy seeds and equipment.
