On Thursday 22nd June our Year 10 Computer Scientists took part in a Computer Science Challenge Day at Newcastle University. The students competed against students from Kings Pirory School and St Cuthbert’s High School in challenges including programming using Pibrella on the Raspberry Pi’s, simulating GCHQ in a networking activity and programming an Mbot robot. Alex Mann and Ellis Gray won the Pibrella challenge and can be seen in the photograph collecting their awards. Students worked extremely well and had a fantastic day!
