Our Year 8 REAL project students recently designed and created their own video game using the programming language Scratch. Students then ‘pitched’ their idea to our School Improvement Adviser for New technologies, Chris Wilde. The students bravely delivered their presentations in the lecture theater to both Chris and their peers. All groups worked extremely hard to construct their product, packaging and pitch. Chris then made a judgement as to which group had produced the most innovative game and pitch.

The winners were  Sarah Johnson,  Lauren McGregor,  Lillie Wigham,  Grace Kwok and  Maisie Green who each won £10 worth of ‘intu’ vouchers for their game ‘Fern Coven’, feel free to play their game  click here  and view their pitch  click here

And the runners up were  Callum Quarrie,  Tommy Hedley and  Connor Bennett who each won £5 of ‘intu’ vouchers for their game ‘Red Little Circle’, feel free to play their game  click here  and view their pitch click here

Well done Year 8!
