Dance students visited the residents at Linskill Park this week after the residents paid students a visit at Christmas. The afternoon included taking part in a chair dance class with the residents going down ‘memory lane’ listening to their memories of what they used to do when they were younger and creating movements to music using these memories. Students then performed for the residents, this included the dance routines that students have learnt this year and also a singing performance from Georgia Tate. The afternoon was rounded off with students talking to the residents about the class and also listening to more memories from their past. Thank you to Linskill Park for making us all feel welcome and we look forward to seeing you all next year for another collaboration.
