Macmillan
On Friday Burnside Staff and Students joined the world’s biggest coffee morning in aid of Macmillan. Over 40 amazing cakes were baked by our expert Burnside Bakers and events around the school starting at 8am on the Staff Gallery, helped us raise £410 for Macmillan. Well done everyone for a fantastic efffort!
Team Teal Charity Bike Ride
As part of a year long programme of Charity Challenges in honour of Mrs Lulham staff, friends and family joined together in a charity bike ride from South Shields to Seaham on Sunday 1 October. Over 60 riders took part, and some even cycled back! As well as raising hundreds of pounds for Macmillan, riders passed some fantastic sights and even rode along the beach! Great fun and a great team effort in honour of a most amazing member of our staff.
