It is a great honour to be able to announce that 9 Sixth Form Students have completed their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards today after 18 months of hard work and commitment. This Award involves the students doing 18 months of volunteering, 12 months of a new skill and sport, a 4 day expedition and a 5 day residential; so there is quite a lot of determination and persistence required; it is a huge achievement.
All students will be invited to a Royal Presentation Ceremony at a palace in London where they will be presented with their Award.
