Last night, some of the year 10 Netball team went to watch Team Northumbria play Bencoes Mavericks in the Netball Super League. Students got the opportunity to watch elite level netball as well as to meet some of the players. Unfortunately Northumbria lost the match but students enjoyed the game and the opportunity for autographs at the end.
Next week, we are being visited by one of the Team Northumbria players Tasmin Moala and taking part in a Netball Masterclass to learn some of the skills, tactics and ideas that students observed last night! Well done to the girls who conducted themselves with maturity throughout the night and were a credit to the school.
