Abbie was entered for an athletics talent spotting day at Monkton Stadium. She qualified for the Regional event at Gateshead Stadium in both 100m and long jump. Abbie achieved a gold medal in the long jump. This was presented to her by her HOY Mrs Wightman at an end of term rewards assembly on Monday 13th July.
