Year 8 and 9 students have recently started on a new STEM adventure. They will be working with various departments in the school on a ‘€˜theme park’€™ project. In this project they will be building various parts of theme parks and designing their own rides.

They will do practical work using the rides that they have built, increasing their numeracy skills, as well as their technological skills when building the rides.

The project will see them gain a Crest bronze level award, which can be used toward their Duke of Edinburgh award.   The students that are successful will be going on a reward trip at the end of the year.
