Burnside Year 10 BTEC Performing Arts Students presented their ‘Scripted Showcase Evening’ this week to an invited audience of friends and family. The evening consisted of students performing scripted extracts from the following plays: ‘Fairytaleheart’ by Philip Ridley, ‘Abigail’s Party’ by Mike Leigh and ‘Blood Brothers’ and ‘Educating Rita’ both by Willy Russell. Students performances will count towards their BTEC Level 2 First Award in Performing Arts (Acting).
