Our year 7 REAL Project students have been studying the history of Wallsend and the people who make up or Community, both past and present. REAL Project offers students the opportunity to learn through engaging, challenging projects with authentic outcomes and this project was no different. The students have been learning about the Roman Empire,the coal mining and ship building industries and Wallsend during the World Wars in order to publish their own book entitled “Who is Wallsend.”
The students have put together an exhibition of their best work from the first term and would like to invite you all to come along and see it. The exhibition will take place on Tuesday 26 January 2016 from 3.30-5.00 at Burnside Business and Enterprise College
